I spent my summer vacation at the lovely Fairfield Glade Resort in the mountains of Crossville, Tennessee. I hiked trails to breathtaking overlooks, explored the underground Cumberland Caverns, and enjoyed coffee in quaint downtown Crossville. There was so much to see, but not enough time to do it all!
My favorite location I visited during my trip was Cummins Falls State Park. This was the most challenging, but rewarding hike I’ve ever endured. I trekked through mountain cliffs, river currents, and slippery algae rocks – to reach an amazing natural wonder, a gorgeous waterfall. Little did I know that this waterfall scenery would be where I would become engaged. This was definitely a trip to remember. I highly recommend traveling to the Crossville, Tennessee area to anyone who is interested in the great outdoors.
