My friend Sven is a planner. He just returned from spending a month in Africa and before he got on the plane to return to his home in Sweden, he booked his next adventure, plane tickets and all. He is a planner. He enjoys knowing he has an upcoming trip, even if it is many months from now. It gives him something to look forward to. He researches and plans the details from local eateries to art exhibits for months.
I also know impulse travelers, people who just get up and go. They travel very spontaneously, each for different reasons. Some find great last minute deals, some have ever changing schedules that don’t allow them to plan too far ahead, and others enjoy the thrill of spontaneity.
Which are you? A travel planner or more spontaneous? Leave a comment and let me know. – Jill

Hi Lisa.
Planning ahead gives me peace of mind knowing the details are taken care of.. – it is also a great way to get in vacation mode early.
